TradeSmith updates your positions just after the market closes. If any of your positions hit the alert criteria, we will email/text you after the close of the markets.
With our alert consolidation, you can choose how you receive alerts. To check your alert consolidation settings, click on your name in the top right corner of TradeSmith Finance and select Settings.
Then select Alerts and scroll down to the Alerts Consolidation section.
You can then select how you would like your alerts to be delivered:
- Individual Notifications - You will receive a separate email for each alert triggered. Please keep in mind that choosing "Individual notifications" setting may significantly increase the number of notifications received daily.
- Grouped Reports - Alerts are sent after each delivery of closing prices from our data provider. This normally occurs four times a day based on region, with U.S. markets usually in the last two for day.
- Single Report - Alerts will be consolidated into a single text message and/or email once we have received all data from our providers.
