Step 1: Locate the Play Store on your mobile device.
Step 2: Within the search engine type “Tradesmith.”
Look for the TradeSmith logo. It’s a hammer located within a blazing “S.” The hammer also represents the “T” for TradeSmith.
Step 3: Tap “Install” to download the app. To open the app, touch the “Open” button.
Once you open the TradeSmith app, you will be directed to the Dashboard. To enable your push notifications, you must go to the program settings found within the More page (look for three gray dots).
The More page allows you to then enable your push notifications from your program settings. Push notifications are clickable pop-up messages that appear on your mobile device. The push notifications will prompt you when you have triggered alerts and or notifications from your TradeSmith program.
Step 4: Tap on Settings.
Step 5: Select “Push Notifications.”
You will be prompted to sign in if you have not already done so.
You want to make sure that the Push Notifications button is toggled to the right with a green switch.
Under Notification Settings, you have the option to receive individual notifications or consolidated notifications.
- Individual Notifications: Alerts you to view each notification as it’s triggered.
If you would like to receive individual notifications, please ensure that this feature is enabled.
Let’s review the Consolidated Notifications menu:
- Single Notification: Alerts will be consolidated into a single notification after we have received all close prices from our data providers.
- Grouped Notifications: Alerts are sent after each delivery of closing prices from our data provider. This normally occurs four times a day based on region, with U.S. markets usually in the last two for the day.
